Today we're going to leave Australia and the Pacific Islands and head to East Asia. The East Asia region, as used in our workbook, includes the People's Republic of China, Taiwan, Mongolia, North and South Korea and Japan.
In class, we're going to begin by identifying these countries on the map on page 146 of your workbook. Then, after a brief discussion, we're going to work on the "Searching for China" webquest in class.
Assignment for Monday, Nov. 30: Your completed "Search for China" webquest will be due. This includes Activities 1 through 5. You will get a good start on it in class today (Monday, Nov. 23).
